In the Bible the word “Kedma” has several meanings: ancient, forward - futuristic, and easterly.

This series of photographs is based on 80 year old negatives, and the images reflect the voyage of consciousness through time, collective memory, the unfamiliar familiar, and the narratives arising from the conjunction of these themes.

The characters appear as negatives – a medium which neutralizes the corporeal sensation of the body and radiates ethereal energy.

The photographs have not undergone any computerized processing.

הדמויות מופיעות בנגטיב – מדיום שמנטרל את תחושת הגשמי של הגוף -ומקרין החוצה אנרגיה נשמתית.
